Allama Sayeedi (B,desh)
Tafseer Mahfil 2006, held in Chittagong. Allama Delwar Hossain Sayeedi is one of the most prominent religious telepreachers in Bangladesh. A very prominent Bangladeshi Islamic personality and politician, a former Member of Parliament (MP) in the Jatiyo Sangshad, and one of the most prominent leaders of the Islamic Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh.
Islam is the only code of life revealed by Allah, The Lord of the Universe. This code of life encompasses the whole gamut of human life. It does not only prescribe beliefs but also the norms of behaviour. Its guidance covers all spheres of human activities, both spiritual and material. Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh upholds Islam in its entirety, and aims at bringing about a revolution. It is opposed to all forms of violence. It aims at channelling the thoughts of the people to the right direction first. Then people of similar thinking have to be organised and trained up as able leaders and efficient workers of the Islamic movement.

Bangladesh capturing the perpetrators of suicide attacks (2)
Bangladesh has seen a rapid rise in terrorist acts by Militant groups in recent years. Although their activities started in the mid-1990, the successive governments were either reluctant or incapable of capturing the perpetrators of repeated deadly terrorist acts which resulted in death of nearly 200 innocent people [Ref 1]. Embolden by the Governments' consistent failure to apprehend the criminals, these outfits launched a massive campaign of terror, including suicide-bombings in 2005. Finally, the killing of two judges in a court house by suicide bombing and the unprecedented blasting of 500 bombs within hours across all corners of the country on 17th August 2005 shook the nation. BNP-Jamaat Government followed a fast-track passage of justice on the captured terrorists. Death penalty was handed to a number of the masterminds,

Bangladesh Stalemate
WONG:
Leaders of former Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina's party are rejecting talks with the government over elections later this year and demand she be released from detention.
Hundreds of grassroots leaders of one of Bangladesh's largest political parties, the Bangladesh Awami League, gathered in the capital Dhaka on Monday. They are deciding whether to participate in a proposed dialogue with the government on the possibility of elections later in the year. The government was hoping that the talks with political parties would steer the nation to democracy through an election it promised to hold in the third week of December. But opposition parties are demanding the release of their detained leaders Sheikh Hasina and Begum Khaleda Zia, before joining the talks. The Awami league leaders also threatened to protest in the streets if Hasina was not freed immediately.[Kamrul Islam, Dhaka City Awami League]:"From our Awami League, we have decided that without Sheik Hasina there will be no dialogue. Without Sheikh Hasina, no elections."The interim government took over in January last year after months of political violence and imposed a state of emergency. It also launched a crackdown on corruption, detaining scores of top politicians including Hasina and her rival, Zia.Loyalists of Zia have also refused talks with the government, demanding her release first.

Bangladesh, Myth of 'Muslim intolerance.'(3)
In general, minorities in Muslim majority Bangladesh lead a more secure and prosperous life than minorities in Hindu-majority India, though few in India would readily concede this, for it clearly contradicts the carefully-constructed myth of 'Muslim intolerance.' Unlike in India, where anti-Minority violence, abetted by politicians and the police, is a routine affair in which thousands upon thousands of Muslims and others have lost their lives since Independence, Bangladesh is remarkably free of communal violence. There have been no riots ever since the country's liberation in 1971. The only time that violence against the Hindus occurred was in the immediate aftermath of the destruction of the Babri Masjid at Ayodhya in 1992. Here, it is important to note that the violence was, in the first place, provoked by the large scale massacre of Muslims in India.

Hasina's statements and behaviour is against the principality of Democracy and shades horror on the future of any democratic system and clearly poses threat to the development of Bangladesh, both economically and politically.
This video displays the horrific truth of Awami League.

Bangladeshis Celebrate Election Minister's Departure
CHAN: A crippling four-day transport blockade has ended in Bangladesh, after the chief election commissioner stepped down. This comes under pressure from a 14-party political alliance to get him to resign.
STORY: Chief Election Commissioner M.A. Aziz has agreed to take three months' leave to defuse pressure from the political parties. This comes ahead of general elections in January.
A 14 party alliance has demanded the removal of Aziz's deputies, accusing them of bias towards Bangladesh's Nationalist Party.
[Khaleda Zia, Nationalist Party Chief]: "The chief election commissioner has taken leave, and is away from his job. So now I think there is no reason to continue the blockade."
[Zia]: "I think they know that within 90 days the elections must hold. So there is not much time. Hope they will start their work to participate in the elections."
Thousands of opposition supporters gather on the streets of Dhaka for a victory rally.
[Mufazzal Hossain, Alliance Leader]: "As M.A.Aziz (chief election commissioner) has gone - due to pressure from the people he has taken leave - so we are celebrating the victory. It is the people's victory."
Bangladesh President Iajuddin Ahmed says he hopes Aziz's departure will end weeks of protests.
Six people were killed and hundreds injured in clashes among rival groups over the past four days.
50 people are injured after an Awami League alliance rally was attacked by rivals.
Elections in Bangladesh have been violent and marred by allegations of rigging and voter intimidation.

You can incarcerate me but not my conscious. I will not compromise with my conviction of a free, fair, peaceful democratic society. I am the daughter of the Father of The Nation Bangabandhu who sacrificed his life for his people and I will do so.
